“…Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? From Summer Day by Mary Oliver

Join me for a silent online weekend MSC retreat on USA, UK and Europe friendly times – starting daily at 8am East Coast USA/Canada time or 1pm UK time.

Why come on this retreat?

Giving ourselves time and space to pause and rest deeply can enable us to ground and land more deeply in the present moment. Creating this safety for ourselves allows our hearts to open, guide and support us in exploring a kinder and wiser direction for our one wild and precious life. This is an opportunity to build reslience and live with more courage amidst ongoing uncertainty.

Mindful Self-Compassion

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an integration of research by Kristin Neff with the clinical perspective of Christopher Germer; It offers core principles and practices that resource us to respond to difficult moments in our lives with kindness, care and understanding. The three key components of self-compassion are self-kindness, a sense of common humanity, and balanced, mindful awareness, opens our hearts to suffering, so we can give ourselves what we need. opens us to our essential inter-relatedness, so that we know we aren’t alone. Mindfulness opens us to the present moment, so we can accept our experience with greater ease. Together they comprise a state of warm, connected, presence.

In this retreat we will explore how to live our wild and precious life more fully through mindfulness as well as both tender and fierce self-compassion practices. These can help us find our direction for the coming year. We will ask questions of ourselves and have time to reflect deeply in the gently guided silent practices, giving ourselves the precious gift of our own presence and be supported by the retreat leader and the online group.
